PVC fiber yellow raincoats

Our waterproof yellow raincoats are made from sturdy yet durable PVC. Polyester fiber materials, or PVC, are especially appreciated for their very good resistance to abrasion and the effects of light and sunlight. These materials are, therefore, very durable and colorfast. Polyester fibers are characterized by very low humidity and, on the contrary, a good ability to wick away moisture, contributing to faster sweat removal from the skin.

Their circular cross-section makes polyester fibers highly glossy, giving the resulting textile a silky appearance and feel. Since polyester fibers are difficult to dye, specially developed sublimation printing methods are used, which allow the color to be sealed directly in the fiber structure. In this way, we achieve permanent and brilliant colors for the materials. Polyester fibers also have some unpleasant properties; therefore, modified fibers are usually used, which have improved properties regarding the intended purpose of using the fiber.

While waterproof yellow raincoats can be purchased and worn by anyone, the fluorescent yellow versions are typical of utilitarian occupations. Construction workers, road crews, or service people such as power grid linesmen are commonly issued with bright yellow or orange rainwear as a safety measure to increase their visibility during work in reduced visibility. These colors are visible and identifiable in contrast to natural colors from a great distance, facilitating their avoidance or location.
